About Me

Asking for help is the first step to counselling and often the hardest. It can be very daunting however, very rewarding. You will always be greeted with a warm welcome. I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor. I provide a confidential and professional one to one counselling service for adults, young people and children over the age of 11 years. I work using a dual approach by helping you to manage your day to day difficulties by finding coping strategies that will assist you between sessions and after therapy ends. I also work deeper to identify the issues that are contributing to these problems and help you learn to notice triggers that you are holding you back. I have been working as an outreach counsellor for a cancer charity for three years so I have a vast knowledge surrounding bereavement and loss. Being an Integrative counselling means I can utilise different skill sets from many different approaches to counselling such as Humanistic, Person-centred, CBT and Psychodynamic. The advantage to this is that I do not just work using one modality of counselling meaning I can provide a more flexible approach to help you reach your goals.
