About Me

I can offer a safe, confidential and reassuring space to talk about how you are feeling and help you manage anxiety, depression, feelings of loneliness and isolation exacerbated by the current situation. Uncertainty is disruptive of self-confidence, and can cause stress, anxiety and sadness as well as relationship problems. My approach is to help you to find constructive pathways to address and manage these problems. There is no agenda, and no pressure and completely non-judgemental. Over the course of your sessions I will help you manage your emotions and to become aware of unconscious thoughts that might be driving these unhelpful and distressing feelings, creating anxiety and low mood. You will be able to make links between seemingly unrelated thoughts, feelings and experiences which will help in finding a way though this difficult period. I work with generalised anxiety disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, panic disorder, eating disorders and obsessive behaviour and relationship problems. Also self esteem, low self confidence, self harm, unexplained physical symptoms (psychosomatic), or just feeling sad. I also work with couples helping with the emotions associated with relationship break up, betrayal, separation & divorce.
